there are two sides to the being known as takeo. like a coin, he possess a heads and a tails side in some degree. on one hand, he is a whimsical, social, and rather childish male who enjoys seeking out fun and being around like minded people. seeking entertainment in the usual video games, anime, manga yaoi, and skating. he wants nothing more than to live a life where he can honestly say he has no regrets. takeo also possess a rather lewd and promiscuous side about him that at times, could surely be too much to handle. he seems to also be rather musical at times. he cares deeply for those he has formed bonds with and will do all in his power to keep them safe, mentally and physically. he needs people to indulge in his curious nature with, of course.

on the other side of the spectrum however, takeo possess keen intellect and is very educated. although he'd rather keep these traits under wraps, he's not an angel by any means. he suffers from awful envy and jealousy. he's possessive to a rather nasty degree and will enact underhanded deeds to achieve his goals if he has to. combined with his intellect and knowledge, takeo has gone out of his way to prove himself superior on certain occasions. these are all traits he is no where near proud of but they seem to have stuck and make no moves to leave. his most shameful? the deep levels of perversion he can reach. the skittish nature he also possesses seems to try it's best to curb the nastier traits. but it's a constant tug-o-war.

malicious and greedy, his true intent and persona is that of a neutral chaotic blank slate. takeo has no clear objective in life despite what he may say or do. due to the events in his life, he has little to no trust in anyone other than his older brother and they simply see the side of him that will allow them to be expendable later on. he has times where he wants to rid himself of his true nature, but it has been with for so long that it only grows stronger and more prevalent with each passing day. his sanity hanging by a frayed thread it seems.

✱ birthday — october 16th || libra || height — 5'7" || weight — 125 lbs

✱ the youngest of the tsuguhito siblings. a year younger than his older brother, hanzaemon; their parents were both tuners who belonged to the team Tool Toul To. after having met each other, the two decided to resign and live out their lives as A-T shop owners. having their sons and immediately instilling in the two knowledge of air trecks, parts, tuning, and the like.

✱ takeo took to the lessons very well and immediately began tinkering with tools and parts. however, upon entering school and spouting off knowledge and jargon of machinery, it caused immediate ostracizing from his classmates. it didn't help that he wasn't the most attractive child either. takeo soon stopped socializing altogether and fled to his books, grades, and inventions. the only people he felt safe speaking to being his brother and parents.

✱ growing up, it seemed as though he grew to become attractive (or something) and the sudden attention from his classmates blind-sided him. so much so, that takeo felt as though he had to hide his love for A-T's and only tinker in secret. so he did. he would immediately come home and flee to his room to tinker with the latest pieces and equipment his parent's gave him. not to mention run the shop while they were away or busy.

✱ during the duration of his constant curiosity and tinkering with A-T's, the holder of the pledge regalia passed away. however, said regalia was given to takeo's parent's for safe keeping. both of them coming tot he conclusion that they were both unfit to bear said regalia, passed it on to their son who seemed to have a knack and affinity for A-Ts. upon being gifted the regalia, takeo made a vow to bring honor to said gift and follow in the footsteps of the fallen leader of Tool Toul To.

✱ he's very much attached to his older brother (read as: gtfo clingy). refers to him as nii-san even in public and wants to grow up to look as muscular as he does. he also used to believe boys have true interest in him even now that he doesn't look like he was beaten with the ugly stick. he assumed they more likely than not, want to get to his brother. but now, he's much more confident in his looks and his ability as a tuner.

✱ he's somewhat of a hopeless romantic but his idea of romance has been severely jaded due to video games. he has an obsession with otter like paraphernalia and likes to stand upon tall buildings and look out among the city. flying seems to be something he has a joy of doing. or maybe he just likes the sky? who knows.

✱ he has sketchbooks filled with designs of a-ts, machines, and other weaponry. he has even gone so far as to scan them to his computer and color them. making 3-D models and eventually producing his products in actuality. a self proclaimed tinkering genius, he spends hours creating and... well... tinkering. takeo also uses spare and broken parts from his parent's shop to work on his inventions.

✱ alongside spending a great deal of his time at trophaeum tower, takeo is a student at the tendai high school for boys in Ōtsu-shi. it's closer to home. and it has boys, hello? eye candy for days.
