Here on Ride the Wave we provided you all a [skill guide] for the creation of your skills if you are in need of help with a few hang ups. However, we have faith that everyone will make their skills with good judgement. For example, if you are an F-Class level rider, you shouldn't be able to perform outlandish abilities based on the road you follow at that class just yet. The description provided in the thread "CLASSES AND RANKS", should help you be able to determine where you stand and what will be needed to grow as a Storm Rider/Tuner as the site progresses through each arc.
In the world of Ride the Wave, it is shown that, within the manga series that we are based off on, there are unique people of all kind who can do physically amazing things with their body. A man capable of shifting his body fat from a heavy set body to that of a muscular one, another man capable of dislocating his limbs to mimic that of a bug and using them as a part of his "Run" style by placing ATs upon not just his foot, but his wrist and knees as he comes to extend his speed and physical prowess even more to demolish his enemies. Another example would be where, in the manga, there was another who possessed a unique disease known as "myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy," a rare condition characterized by reduced body fat and increased muscle size which grants the user up to twice the actual muscle mass in ones body; therefore, tend to have increased muscle strength.
Specifically, if one desires to possess a physical ability such as those aforementioned above. They do not require a class rank, but you will have to sacrifice a single starting ability slot in order to possess a physical trait that grants you some kind of help when in battle.

Here on RIDE THE WAVE, you could say anything is pretty much possible mechanic wise; although, you should be logical with this. For instance, if you are going to have a mechanical arm that can do all sorts of functions and what not, we expect you to make a good judgement call based on the class level that the said item is; although we are very freedom oriented and don't want to limit anyone to their creative ideas.
Weaponry in the world of Air Gear is crafted out of a variety of assortments to whatever the creator can think of. Where we have women using robotic suits 1.)[x] , specifically those of the Over Road, harnessing a skin tight suit that allows her to sync not just with the robotic suit inside but also with the usage of AirTreck as it possesses wheels upon the sole of its feet. Another good example would be to where, if you are Tuner, you are capable of modifying or creating a weapon such as a guitar 2.)[x]. Even with just an item you can still possess a shadow, which is a transparent being that represents a Storm Rider or Tuners Road and way of riding. Basically anything is possible as long as it is reasonable with the class level that it has been created within; although, you have the capability to upgrade that said weapon. So if it were made at D-Class, you have the option to upgrade to the respective class level that you are! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact a mod.
UNIQUE ROADS, are roads for those who have come to the realization that they are but mere ROADLESS beings. People who do not fit into any current Road and are still trying to figure themselves out; although some "Unique Roads" may come to be actual revealed roads later. Those who are still finding their roads are slowly learning to access just exactly what that Road is by conducting their own, personal "Run" just like any normal Rider. Unique Roads may not be obtainable/purchased until one has reached C-CLASS level.
Abilities are what you purchase for your character to utilize their tricks/techniques. Abilities have their own class ranging from D-Class to King/Queen-Class. Your character can only purchase abilities up to their class (C-Class Storm Rider/Tuner can only buy C-Class Abilities or lower). There is no limit in the amount of abilities you can purchase, if you have the Yen for it, go right ahead. In terms of weapons for Storm Riders or Tuners––purchasing an ability will be equivalent to buying a new item. When wanting to upgrade a current spell within your arsenal, it will cost the same amount of Yen as buying a completely new ability. Below you will see the prices for the abilities here on Ride the Wave.
When ranking up, it should be noted that you are allowed to change the development of your Air Trecks as you grow during your time here on Ride the Wave. Meaning that every time you purchase a new class level, you have the choice to change the design of your Air Trecks to better suit your growth not only as a Storm Rider, but as a fighter as well. Normally at F-Class you start off with basic skates stylized skates, but logically as you progress your skates also grow with you for they require constant tuning. Now there is only one way to bypass this without having to wait for your next upgrade to change the design of your skates. If you thread it out with a Tuner whom is tuning up your skates, you can PM a Mod the thread or simply link your thread to where the tuning is being within this thread! That way, if has been done in characterly, you can happily provide us with a description of your newly designed Air Trecks and we can replace the current description you have in your profile with the new one.
NOTE: You MUST purchase two abilities above your current rank in order to access the next class ranking level. So , for example, you are a D-Class Rider/Tuner and you feel you're ready to level up. You will have to purchase two C-Class abilities in order to access C-Class Rank!
Now, onward to those with Regalia's, a.k.a the King's/Queen's. If you possess a regalia it is mandatory that you, and if you cannot find a PC Tuner a solo thread with a post of 500 words is fine, you thread out your Air Treck tuning. Possessing a Regalia requires constant tuning each time your Air Trecks are used and whenever you Rank Up it is best that you get your tuning done during that time as those with Regalia's gain new forms with each new rank up bought. And with a new rank up comes even greater power.
