• Currently, there are six types of ability types: OFFENSIVE, DEFENSIVE, SUPPLEMENTARY, BUFFING, DEBUFFING, and PASSIVE or PHYSICAL skills. All of your abilities should fall within the spectrum of one of the six types listed. This guide will help you receive a better understanding on what each type of skill is and what it's primary objectives are.
• The difference between PASSIVE and PHYSICAL is simple. PASSIVE insinuates this is a skill learned through training and or your road chosen. While PHYSICAL is something your character from birth, was uniquely bestowed (Gravity Children and their enhanced physical abilities and twinkle eye apply here).
• Twinkle Eye will work as a Buff upon activation.
• Below you will find a description expressing what the said ability types are, in more detail.
OFFENSIVE: Abilities that are used to create damage fall under this category, they are strictly for combat purposes. Pretty simple. If it's offensive, be ready to cause some serious damage to someone. the cooldowns may vary.
DEFENSIVE: Abilities that are used to protect the user fall under this category, whether in the form of a barrier, a shield, or whatever else you think up. Reflecting an ability also falls under this category. Defensive Abilities are capable of defending/reflecting one ability of higher class, or two Abilities of equal class, or several other lower ability classes. When reflecting an ability, it isn't reflected with the same proficiency; instead, the ability will be reflected one class below its original class (an A-Class ability reflected, would be reflected back as a B-Class ability). No matter the class, after being destroyed, a defensive ability goes into a three post cooldown.
SUPPLEMENTARY: Abilities that are used to create a distraction of sorts, or to be utilized in ways that cannot fit a set type present fall under this category. An example of such an ability, would be creating a clone that tricks people into believing they are you. The cooldowns may vary.
BUFFING: Abilities that are used to enhance a trait or support an individual/group fall under this category. Buffing Abilities are created to increase a character's strength, speed, hearing, sight, and etc. for a duration of time. A buffing ability cannot function as a passive but it can serve as an active. After its duration, a buffing ability, no matter the rank, goes into a three post cooldown.
DEBUFFING/AILMENT: Abilities that are used to hinder a trait or weaken an individual/group fall under this category. Debuff Abilities are created to decrease a character's strength, speed, hearing, sight, and can cause ailments for a duration of time. Debuffs can range from causing someone to have blurry vision, feeling sick, or even being incapable of hearing anything around them. These Abilities can be quite lethal in their own right when used correctly on a target. After its duration, a debuffing ability, no matter the rank, goes into a three post cooldown.
PASSIVE/PHYSICAL: Abilities that are constantly active and utilized by an individual. Passive Abilities will always be one class lower in damage and overall statistics. Meaning, if one has an A-Class Passive ability that allows the skin to constantly be at high temperatures to the point if someone touches them they will suffer from burns, instead of A-Class Burn Damage, it will deal B-Class burn damage.
