A burst of light appears high above an entirely blackened stage, a silhouette of a young man posing with an arm extended high into the air with his index pointed skyward can be seen. [break]

With a clap of his hands, more lights from the sides and the front of the stage, his entire appearance now clearly in view. A tall, slender, young man with midnight black hair stands on the stage alone and wearing clothes that almost looked like something a fully black, twisted fairy tale prince may wear while on the journey for his damsel in distress.

Both of his hands extend away from him to the side now, motioning out to the sides as he raises his head fully towards the light now so that his face could be seen. Bright, piercing blue eyes stared out from the stage while a wicked grin came across the usually soft and gentle looking idol’s face.

A person who has made his living off of his good looks and charismatic ways, Demitrius Ravenwood or ‘Demi’ as his manager had nicknamed him for convenience that has extended out to becoming a household name in the world of Japan’s Idols.

“Welcome.” Demitrius said in an accent that is hard to place, fans had been trying to guess his mixture of nationalities for years, but they could only place it to Japan and possibly somewhere in Europe. With a wave of his hand down towards his side to wave back the bottom of his long jacket which was adorned with small pieces of jewelry and other nick-nacks, the idol gave a large bow as though he had just given the performance of his life. [break]
Quickly though and standing back up straight at a moment’s notice, he gave a quick clap of his hands as he stared outwards and kept his patented smile across his mug. Swinging an arm around his back to crossover and hold at his back, he walked off towards the side of the stage and rose his other hand up next to his head, wiggling his finger back and forth as he started to look deep in thought.

“Put simply...all I ask is that, alongside Sleeping Forest, you make sure that no Storm Rider dares to try and reach the Trophaeum Tower. Your home. Your birthplace.” He explained to whoever was listening, but as he walked the stage seemed to disappear and crumble away into smoke as he began to walk in the dark now, but he was clearly in view.
[break]“That’s what we were told, myself and the others.” There was a small shrug from Demitrius now as not too far ahead of him there was a small horizontal slit of light that came into view as he casually strolled along in the strange darkness, “Ah, Doctor Tensai~ So kind, opening the way for our freedom.” A sly smirk escaped from him now, remembering back to those times with the other children that was gathered in the tower to endure the training in zero gravity. As he came to the light he saw ahead of him, both of his arms reached out in front of him and he pressed at both of the sides of the light, “What a swell guy!” He shouted out, pushing forward with some effort.

Suddenly, what seems like huge doors that just kept extending far above Demitrius ripped open and as he walked out of the light, he was faced with one of his greatest annoyances.

Blinding, flashing lights. The sounds of people… ugh, paparazzi. As his hand came up to hide his eyes from the light, he looked to the side as though he was talking to someone, “I got it better than others, as you can see!” Demitrius chuckled a bit, waving his hand out towards the paparazzi that had started to encircle him and like magic they began to disappear as though they were made out of smoke, now leaving him outside the front of a large apartment complex in the middle of what was until a moment ago, a busy street.

“That’s better.” Both of his hands slipped into his pockets now as he decided to go for a small walk, “So, here’s the story.” One hand rose from his pocket and began to wave lightly in front of him as he began to explain some things, “After leaving the tower with the others, I got rather lucky~ Found my actual family, lived the rich life because my father… who’s a supplier of Air Trek parts, mhmm-mhmm~ That was a good investment on his part.” There was a small snicker from the Idol as he crossed a large junction.

“Now, I’m sure some people would think, ‘Hey. They gave you away as a baby to get experimented on, that’s bad of them.’ Well, now… I’m stronger than most, faster than most and damn, my stamina is amazing~ Kinda helps with my lifestyle~” There was a small coo of pure amusement from the sound of him, bringing a hand up to run through the fringe of his hair which fell back into place almost exactly as it was before.

Following him a little longer, it comes to a large business square inside the city he had found himself inside. Massive screens that clung to the sides of buildings would light up the street as it advertised everything from food to television. But there was something strange about this, as Demitrius stared up at the screens, there was a sparkle in his eye of pure… bliss.

Upon the screens, most of them had him in them. Advertising the newest burgers of a fast-food restaurant, wearing the latest in fashion, acting in his latest romantic television series and even a music video of his band playing. “Mmmm~ Look at my accomplishments.” Both arms raised now up towards the screens as though praying to… himself? “One photo shoot as a teenager and boom! I’ve taken Japan by storm!” A joyous cackle escaped from him as he jumped on the spot and threw a fist up into the air. Yes, things were good for him and have been for quite a while now, this was something he was far too prideful in.

But there was always that small tug at the back of Demitrius’ mind. The last words that himself and the other Gravity Children heard from Doctor Tensei almost seemed to haunt him. Was this everything he needed? Everything he wanted? To put it simply, no.

[break]
Everything around Demitrius began to disappear, similarly to before but this time everything was a bit more destructive in nature with buildings falling until there was literally nothing left, the screens that originally had him fell to the ground and dissipated like dust as soon as they touched the ground.
[break]
With all of this happening, that darkness that was originally surrounding him during his walk away from the stage returned, leaving Demitrius to stand in the pitch black area by himself. As the idol stood there quietly, the expression on his face shifted. A dark look came over him as his eyes seemed to glare off into nothing, as if he was able to see something that he shouldn’t have been.

“Stopping Storm Riders.” There was an audible ‘tsk’ from him as he looked off to the side and he brought a hand up to rub over the top half of his face, stroking just underneath his eyes as a long sigh escaped from him. “I guess that’s something I can do. After all…” And as Demitrius spoke, the clothing he wore began to shift and change, as a large black cloak began to cover over his shoulders, falling down along the back of his body and front of him.

Underneath his hand something began to grow out from underneath it, a shiny black metal that stretched out over his face and head, creating something that was hiding the face of the young man. As he took away his hand, black fur fell down from the back of the mask and fell along the back of the cloak. [break]

Quite a frightening mask, shaped into the form of a wicked looking crow with deep red, glowing eyes. That same glow appeared down at his feet now as the large boots he originally was wearing has been replaced with a pair of air treks, pieces of the mechanisms lit up with that ominous glow as the wheels began to spin violently on the spot, causing a screeching sound.

The idol had taken up an alternate identity, ‘BLACKROCK’, a dangerous Storm Rider that was known for causing mayhem for weaker riders. Destroying their Air Trek when they lost to him in a battle or going as far as to cripple some of the ones that seemed like they wouldn’t stop until they reached the top, take part in that tournament… and attempt to take his old home by storm.

As the ominous figure of the Rider stood there, that loud screeching still sounding off inside this darkness. There was one sound that could be heard. A low, guttural breathing that was being amplified through a system in the mask, making the once charming Demitrius take on the visage of a creature from the darkness.

The voice that bellows from the mask is loud, almost demonic in nature as the rider crouched down and caused the air trek to sound off viciously with more power than before.

[break]And then… nothing. The figure of the rider had disappeared into that deep darkness. Not a noise could be heard. Not even a whisper.
