Friends come and go. Hitomi makes a lot of them just as much as she loses them, but don't expect her to consider you as a friend after the first conversation even if she appears to be that kind of person. She's doing it out of politeness, not because she wants to be friends with you or is trying to please others. She's likable and can be agreeable, but she can be a pain in the ass in a way that she constantly needs reassurance that you won't die. Friends might find themselves questioning if she actually trusts them (or may end up annoyed), but she just wants things right. If we're talking about advantages, you'll get a smart friend, free snacks and someone who'll go with you to places.

Not likely. Hitomi tries her best to avoid conflict because she doesn't wanna hassle herself and add more stress to her existing pile. If one really want to get on her bad side, they should try hurting her brother or grandparents or close friends, it will be an instant rage trigger, as in she'll completely lose herself. Good people are terrible when angered, anyway. Other deeds depend on how they were done, but yeah it'll take a while before she gets mad.

Her parents' separation has left a deep cut on her, and not even time has managed to completely heal it. Scarred, Hitomi fears that she might suffer the same fate that her mother did and so refuses to open up her heart to love. But, she doesn't detest love or completely reject the idea. It will be difficult to convince her to engage in any romantic relationship, but it's not impossible. Although, if one managed to be successful in this romantic endeavor, they should know (and understand) that she will be possessive to the point of suffocation because of her fear. She'll be anxious and will need constant reassurance. It's up to the partner to teach her how to trust again. Or, if you're really a sadist, you can go break her heart and show her that a faithful lover is like a cold day in hell. Your choice, really.
